What the fuck happened last week?

2 Chainz
He is going on tour guys! Well. In the US anyway (sorry everyone else). Mr. Chainz will be promoting his new album BOATS 2 and will visit 21 Cities across The States. Now I’m not the biggest 2 Chainz fan, but I sure would appreciate one of his concerts. I don’t know if I got the thirty odd pounds to spend on a ticket, but I’m sure it’d be fucking crazy. I mean it’s 2 Chainz. King Push will be accompanying him as well as August Alsina and Cap 1, which I think it’s pretty good. You never know what’s going to happen; one hiccup and the whole show could change. “It’s a chain reaction!” Check out the dates below.

Kanye West
Really? Again? Yeah. Sorry guys. Remember how I pointed you to a few interviews where he says that he was restricted when working with Nike? Well now he’s apologised. Maybe he’s in a good mood, I don’t know. But it’s good that he recognised that Nike gave him a platform to start with and now that he is more into it, he can go ahead and expand his range.

But the bigger news is definitely that bogus news story run that said Kanye was disrespectful to Nelson Mandela. I heard  something about Kanye saying now that Nelson Mandela has passed more people can focus on him. As soon as I heard that, man I knew they were talking shit. I know Kanye can get full of himself now and then, but to run a story like that; that itself is disrespect. Kanye took to twitter today to clarify all the false accusations.

Justin Bieber
I don’t care what the fuck you guys have to say, but this kid is relevant. Tell me something... Have you heard any songs off this new Music Monday thing he’s got going on. Man, Justin has got some good shit that everyone should be listening to. Today he released a song with Change the Rapper that is just as good, if not better than everything else he has been putting out. Word is that he has a 5 track EP coming out December 16th. I’m not gonna break the track down just yet, but I’ll do an in depth article when he releases the EP. Call it a Christmas Special for all you Beliebers that keep on this blog. (So what that? Just me? Cool.)

Tyga
So Tyga thought he’d end his 2013 by giving us some new music. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, but hopefully it’ll be a good way to spend a few hours. I’m not really a fan of Tyga, I’ve given him a few chances and he just doesn’t float my boat. But that’s not to say that you guys can’t take a spin and give your thoughts on it. His fourth instalment of Well done features his boss, Lil Wayne as well as Meek Mill, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, French Montana, Migos and a few other peeps. Take a listen...

T.IA couple weeks I told you guys that T.I signed to Columbia and that as well as himself, Columbia also get the Hustle Gang imprint. Well, sorry about that, but I was wrong. T.I talked to DJ Scream and clarified that it is just T.I that is signed to Columbia. Trouble Man II will be released under that label, that is all we can say for sure. He goes on to talk about Wayne, check it out...

Grammy’s
Hooray! The Grammy nominations are finally out. Now, you could take this whichever way you want, but to me, I don't think that it was a great night for hip hop. We all know that the Grammy’s don't really favour hip hop, but there was some real shock. Firstly, Drake couldn’t perform which is always a bad thing, and then the actual nominations had Twitter in overdrive. Jay Z leads the nominations with 9 nods and is closely followed by Kendrick as well as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, both with 7 nods each. But the big debate is due to the fact that Born Sinner (which, basing on content of the album, which hip hop albums should be based on, was probably the best of the year) not being nominated.

Hold tight guys, I’m going to do a feature article this weekend about the Grammy. Me and a friend from J. Cole Nation are gonna hit you up with how we think the nominations should have gone.
